Linkup Party Likes #3

Hello everyone and Happy Easter!!!!! hope you all had a lovely time with family and friends.  Yet again I have had another busy week trying to get Bits & Bobs 4 Bubs up and running so I'm really sorry I haven't posted any tutorials again and I do have a few things that I would love to share with you.

But I still managed to have a quick browse through the other amazing links that all you talented ladies out there have linked up.  Here were a couple of my favorite:

Stephanie at Full of Great Ideas has made this "Counting down the days t-shirt" which I think I should hurry up and find me some freezer paper to make one with only 8 weeks till bub is due:

Wow everyone's been very busy making things this week. So many links and lots of great things have been made.

Here are just a few of what I loved this week:

My girl's are always dancing around and asking for me to play all their favourite songs on the stereo, so when I found this sparkle skirt  made by Melissa at Its Sew For You, I just knew I would have to make one each for my dancing fairies:

Ruffles seems to be the in thing at the moment for girl's big or small but I just love this little Ruffle Dress made by Jessica at Utah County Mom:

Bits and Bobs 4 Bubs

As I am expecting baby number 3 in June, hubby and I got around to talking about all the bits and bobs that we still have and no longer have for the new bub.

I also got to thinking about all the lovely things that I didn't have with my two girl's that I would love to have now.  So I put on my thinking cap and armed myself with my measuring tape, pad and pen and set out coming up with ideas and patterns for all those lovely goodies.

And now that I am going to be a stay at home mum for a few more years, I thought I would put my hobby to good use and become a Work At Home Mum.

Thinking about it now I am a bit scared and what am I thinking with a new baby on it's way but I need to get out of my comfort zone and believe in myself.

And so that is how Bits and Bobs 4 Bubs was born:

So what have I been up to, well here are just a few things that I have already made:

Trolley Covers

Capsule Insert but not happy with it currently re-designing

Nappy Wallet

Capsule/Car seat/Pram Insert

and of course gotta make some Bibs and Burp Clothes

Seat belt Covers

And lots lots more still to come.  I also have a few crochet projects in the works and thinking about giving Bits and Bobs it's own blog so will keep you updated.

So please let me know what you think, would love to hear your feedback and checkout my Facebooks page.  Thanks for your support.

Have a great day!!!!!!

11 weeks to go!!!!

I only have 11 more weeks to go till I get to meet this little person.  Can't wait!!!!

Have a great day!

Big Nighty to Little Nighty

I have been a bit preoccupied with other projects so I haven't really done anything to post about so I quickly whipped up this nighty for Gracie this morning.

As per my previous upcycle I had also picked up a few nighty's at the markets that I thought I would upcycle to pj's for my girls.

Grace picked this pink one:

First I found one of Grace's old nighty's that she loves and turned both nighty's inside out and folded them in half:

Then using a marker I traced around the night and cut it out.  Now to just pin both sides and sew:

Pin and sew the hem at the bottom of the nighty:

For the sleeves, I lay both nighty's on top of one another and traced around the sleeve and cut:

Sew across bottom of the sleeves, pin and sew to nighty:

Ta Da!!!! and here is my cheekie little model once again!!!

I have another nighty that is alot thinner and I'm thinking of making them into a night shirt and matching shorts.

Stay tuned and Happy Sewing!!!!!!
