How have you all been. Yes I'm still here and bub is now due in 1 week and 3 days, but I am quite ready for bub to come into the world now lol.
Anyway I'm so sorry I have been such a flake and I hope you all forgive me. I finally have my post for the Boppy Pillow for you.
What is a Boppy Pillow you may ask, well I wondered the same thing when the lovely Christine from Knit 4 You asked if I could make a Boppy Pillow Case for her.
It's a nursing/feeding pillow for your baby and it can also be used by mother's before bub arrives as pelvic support:

I used a triangle shape pillow when nursing my girl's but as I do not have this pillow anymore and after making the pillow case for Christine, I thought I might make myself a pillow for bub number 3.
Now I'm a penny pincher and after looking into the prices of these pillows (they can very from around $39.95 to $79.95) I thought why not use the pattern that I have and make one myself.
So off to Big W I went and purchased myself a 2 pack of pillow's for only $7:
To make the pillow, first I cut the end of each pillow and emptied the filling back into the bag:
Then I placed my pattern onto the pillow cover, on the folded edge, pin and cut. You need to do this on both covers so that you have 2 piece's:
Now to pin both sides together and sew, leaving a gap for you to put the filling back in. I did not turn the cover inside out before filling and I also did an overedge stitch for durability:

And after stuffing the pillow I still have about a pillow and a half left of stuffing to use for other project's which means the pillow only cost around $3 to make.
Another way you could do this is to buy cheap pillow protectors and hobby fill.
Now I just have to make a cover for it!!
