It’s been a busy couple of weeks and I noticed yesterday after I needed to refer to my risotto recipe on the blog (haven’t made it in a while and couldn’t remember how much Arborio rice and how much water I needed to use) that I haven’t blogged since the middle of July and that was for what was going on over at Bits & Bobs.
Bits & Bobs 4 Bubs has been keeping me very busy with a few custom orders and I have been re releasing a few of my old products that I have changed a bit.
So what else is been happening, well my baby girl turned 7 at the beginning of August. Can’t believe it when did that happen. Just love that big toothy smile.
We had a family bbq this year as it was agreed that Miss J would have the big birthday party last year as it was her first year at school and then this year Miss G will have the big birthday party. She had a great time surrounded by family especially all the cousins.
Then it was my birthday this Monday and we went out to lunch on Sunday at the Jimboomba House restaurant. Haven’t been before and so going back again. The meals were delicious and reasonably priced.
The kids had all their favourites and the portion sizes where huge. Mum and I had the seafood marinara which was so yummy I forgot to take a before picture lol. Hubby had the seafood pizza, yep we love our seafood in this household.
For my birthday the kids bought me a new sewing machine that I have been talking about getting so I have a back up if I need to put my Janome in for a service or if she breaks down.
So today I thought I would put it to the test and made these fabric key rings for the Father’s Day stall at the school.
